Tatsuro Kiuchi \\ a delightful afternoon.

Even though Tatsuro Kiuchi graduated with a Master's degree from a US university, the traditional Japanese painting styles such as 浮世絵 (Ukiyo-e) and wood-cut pictures influenced him a lot. 

I really like the pastel colours in the illustrations, the abstract figures, simple shapes and a unique "light air" atmosphere all around these works. It is such a pleasure to bump into those views while browsing any kind of magazines or books, right?
